I literally laughed out loud when I read this. This is exactly the kind of azz kissing and tomfoolery that’s expected. Black women spend far too much energy catering to the emotions of white folks at work. It’s exhausting. If at all possible, stop doing it. Whatever that requires for you to take back your time and mothering energy…please consider ALL OPTIONS to reclaim your energy.

FWIW, most white people are faking who they are in order to conform to the cultural demands of their social hierarchy. They expect you/us to conform too.
