Max, I can tell you've never studied antiracism.

The point is that generally speaking, in the English context, "white" has a connection of good and "black" has a connection of undesirable. You've proven my point with how you had to come up with physical descriptors of undesirable white things (i.e., whitehead, whiteout).

IF you believe systemic racism is real, you realize that it has affected our language, thinking about things/people/places/event, as well as our taxonomies and nomenclature.

Therefore, it is valid and appropriate to ask and reflect upon the question of "is whitelist an expression touched by the idea of white is good and black is bad."

Examination of language AND correction thereof is also THE WORK...as language can be a problem of systemic racism.

Doesn't mean EVERY WORD has to change, but it does me we need to determine if/what and when those changes are warranted.
