Reparations is lineage-based (only for the Black American descendants of U.S. slaves/multigenerational Black Americans with a Negro ancestor born in the U.S. before 1900). It will cost to finally distribute, directly to our families, the wealth that has been extracted from our families for 250+ years. The U.S. has provided reparatory compensation in the form of cash, setasides, and programs to multiple groups. Ironically, those groups are getting OUR money that has been stolen from/withheld from us.
