Thanks for clarifying. Yes; I was referring to lineage equity for descendants of freed U.S. slaves (not race). Although, when people have hard talking points against efforts that champion “racial equity” it’s difficult to tell if THEY are also be against descendants of slaves. We are ~80% of the U.S. “Black” population. The larger public does need to think about us as a unique population group.
